Privacy

The short version

We do not ask for your name, your email address or an account. There is no login, no newsletter and no comment section, so there is nothing for us to lose.

What the site itself stores

Nothing about you. The pages are static, the scores are in the page source, and the only thing kept in your browser is a small note of your cookie choice if you make one. It never leaves your device.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs — address, time, page, browser — for security and troubleshooting, in the ordinary way that any web server does. We do not use them to build a profile of anybody.

Links to games

Following a link to a game takes you to somebody else's site, which will have its own privacy policy and, in several cases, an advertising consent notice with a long list of partners. Those choices are between you and them; we would decline the optional ones.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Because we hold nothing beyond server logs, the answer to the first question is usually very short. Write to desk@shortrunarcade.com.

Children

This site is written for adults. It collects nothing from anybody, including children, but several of the games we review have public chat — each review says so.
